Using older versions of jwplayer on a licensed version of jwplayer

we use JWPlayer to play youtube videos but that is currently problematic due to the issue raised here

http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/questions/8140032-jw-player-youtube-embed-6-9

Would it be possible to use version 6.8 version of JWPlayer instead of 6.9 with our licensed version? If so how?

I know we can use the CDNs but we also need the Ad features in our licensed version. Currently we are pulling in the JWPlayer library using the following format

//jwpsrv.com/library/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.js but that pulls in 6.9 is there a way to pull in 6.8 instead?

Thanks

The YouTube issue is going to be fixed shortly.

In the meantime, you can use the CDN version of 6.8, as well as the “self hosted” key, that will work.

Thanks Ethan

Unfortunately using 6.8 bring its own set of problems with our code which 6.9 doesn't have.

Is there a timeframe for the fix? We need to push a feature which requires this functionality for a client out soon so would need to know if we can wait for the fix or not.

appreciated

We are planning on releasing a patch in August for this.
