That doesn’t make sense. Do you have a link to a player embed?
Thats what I thought, but if you look at our reports we have zero IE plays in the last 6 months.
I run this page yesterday numerous times: http://www.edway.com/test/videotest/videotest.htm and I'm not seeing any plays (at least yet, not sure of when the data is updated).
I just checked your page in IE and I see the play pings to our analytics:

Here is a production page - these are the ones that are not showing up in the analytics page. ~90% of our users are on IE, so its a big miss when there is no reporting of IE
http://www.edway.com/Administration/Admin-Course-Preview.aspx?CourseID=ManagementEssentials&CourseIDX=35&SectionID=2&LectureID=1
when does the data for yesterday show up?
I see the pings there too.
Stats update for the previous days at the end of each day (around 5-6~ pm est).
Thanks Ethan, so we have hundreds of plays a day with that URL and others - where is the IE data?
What versions of IE are on the site usually?
I just changed your date range and IE is there now – https://account.jwplayer.com/#/analytics/overview/d1:2013-07-04/d2:2014-07-10/dt:custom/chrt:video_plays/tbl:devices/p:1/srt:total_plays/dir:desc
Here is the top IE configs this year
MSIE/InternetExplorer11/Windows 7
MSIE/IE10/Windows 8
MSIE/InternetExplorer11/Windows 8
MSIE/IE9/Windows 7
MSIE/IE10
MSIE/IE8/Windows 7
MSIE/IE10/Windows 7
MSIE/InternetExplorer11
MSIE/IE8/Windows 8
Ok
yes, from last year
look at this: http://www.edway.com/scratch/jwplayer1.png
or this

So odd. Did anything change recently on the site?
We updated JWplayer to v 6.x (?) a few months back
JW5 didn’t ever have analytics…
I just pinged from here - http://www.edway.com/CourseContentC.aspx?CourseID=IntellectualPropertyLaw&CourseIDX=23&SectionID=5&LectureID=1
did you see that?
I don’t have real time access. This page is also behind a log in.
I am confused ... when you said earlier you "saw the pings" I assumed that was from the player to your servers. If not then sending you URLs has been a waste of time. We don't seem to be making progress, how do we diagnose this problem?
I went to your test page in IE.
I used Charles, a web proxy.
When the content played, the pings to our analytic servers showed up (network traffic).
So, this means, the pings from IE are being reported.
We can’t actually check if the pings are reflected in your analytics until they update in the dashboard tomorrow though.
like this
http://i.n.jwpltx.com/v1/jwplayer6/ping.gif?tv=8&ph=0&n=0969505948900851&aid=RSY2pr4zEeKLOBIxOQulpA&e=e&i=0&pv=6.8.4616&pi=&a=1&ed=1&ps=1&mu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.edway.com%2FCourseContent%2FIntellectualPropertyLaw%2FIPL012.MP4&pu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.edway.com%2FCourseContentC.aspx%3FCourseID%3DIntellectualPropertyLaw%26CourseIDX%3D23%26SectionID%3D5%26LectureID%3D1&t=&pt=Edway%20Online%20%7C%20Course
Indeed, those are pings.
as you can see no IE from yesterday ...

Something is now provably wrong with the capture or reporting, no IE devices are showing up despite our testing :

I just checked my account. We will look into this.
This has been fixed!
