mobil streaming and tracking

Dear Sir or Madam,

we need to know and clarified it with the jwplayer we can stream and track to mobile devices as android and ipad, iphone.

Our project deals with the streaming of campaigns - thats why we are searching for an easier solution than a native app to handle the tracking issues regarding mobile devices and the controlling of the stream.

Is it definetly possible - even on iphones - to track if a video was delievered and played to the end without fast-forward mode? How is the situation the user has choosen another os player as default tool on his mobile device and how is it if the user enters fullscreen? Is it possible to pull the tracking data close in time - right after the video is finished? Can jwplayer help us?

best regards,

Our built in analytics can tell you which devices are being used, actually.

Thank you for your answer!

Maybe I can ask in detail.

- will we know/ can we notice if the user is or has using a non jwplayer supported device? ..can we denied the playout in the usecase the user is on the way to switch to a os default player??

- will we have an information about this event from the player (api) just in time?

Np. We don’t really have an exposed API, at least, yet, for something like that.
