Companion ad with postroll

I'm using a schedule to play both a preroll and a postroll. It's working great. I've also got the companiondiv configured in the advertising section. The companion div seems to load fine for the preroll. It doesn't seem to be loading for the postroll. Is this the expected behavior or possibly a known bug? I wouldn't expect the companion ad for the postroll to replace the companion ad for the preroll when the postroll loads.

Sorry, that last line should read, "I would" not "I wouldn't".

As a workaround, I tried loading the companion ads myself within jwplayer().onAdCompanions; however, I always get an error in the console when that method triggers:

There was an error calling back an event handler
