Video captions not showing in 6.8, CC button is showing

Hello,
So i just got the latest version of the licensed standalone JW Player 6.8. I am trying to do captions via a (.srt) file. The CC button is showing and seems to be on by default, however the captions are not showing on my video. I have been through all your forums and the web trying to troubleshoot this with no success.

Can you please look at my test link and try and help me to get this working.

All my files (mp4. jpg. srt) are in one directory on the same server.

Thank you,
Chris Myers

Try and load your SRT file directly:

You'll notice there is an error with the server configuration in terms of serving this file.

Yup. It was a server issue. Tested it in another location and we are good to go!

Hello Ethan, I'm having a similar issue. However, the paths to my srt files are within an rss file.

My player shows up fine with the CC button, but no captions are visible when I click the button.

Any help would be appreciated.

I get this error:

CAPTIONS

I believe this is because of a CORS issue – http://enable-cors.org/
