Seek function not working with JW player 6

Hi,

We have licensed version of JW player 6 and we are trying to integrate seek functionality however it's not working as expected.

We wish to play the video after certain duration at each page load however seek doesn't work and video starts to play from beginning.

Video file extensions used:
.mp4
.f4m

This is the code line we have implemented: jwplayer("player1").seek(numJumpseekTime);

Please advise.

Hello Ethan,

I was able to add pseudo-seek functionality using http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/jw-player/28855/pseudo-streaming-in-flash

Seek works fine but, the length of video shortens by the time I have used for seek i.e. a 10 minute video turns into a 9 minute video if I use a seek time of 1 minute. Is there a work-around for this as well?
