Is there anyway that JW player supports mobile devices (BlackBerry, Android, iPhone/iPad)?
I see that you have a WP plugin but it doesn't seem to support mobile devices. Is there a workaround/solution?

Live streaming is not supported by HTML5, so we can’t support it either.
If you use Android 2.2, this will be supported, since Android supports Flash 10.2.

Is live streaming on Android is only available for native applications using JW Player, just not the HTML5 embedded player? Or would either be supported provided that the device has the correct version of flash?
How would one go about supporting *live* streaming for Web, Android and iOS devices using JW Player? 1, 2, or 3 apps...?
Well, the JW Player is a web based player, so it would only be in the device’s web browser. It wouldn’t be through a native App.
Since Android 2.2+ supports Flash 10.3, any instance of the JW Player should work. On the iPhone and iPad, Flash is not supported, so Live Streaming will not work (unless you have a m3u8 stream – http://developer.longtailvideo.com/player/trunk/fl5/js/test/examples/m3u8.html).
So if I encode 2 streams through Wowza as RTMP and HTTP Live Streaming I could stream live video to a JW Player on iPhone/iPad as well as Android, given that they run iOS 3 or better and Android 2.2 and greater, respectively.
That's the setup I'm going for now, an HTML5 page that live streams to either device - the Utopian single codebase (backed by 2 streams).
