JW Player, HLS and DVR

Hi all,

I found this post a while ago...

My company have been eagerly awaiting the ability to use DVR with a HLS live stream but with the release of 6.3 it still doesn't seem to have been implemented.

Is there any news on this? I couldn't find a ticket for it but is it on the horizon?

We know this issue is much requested, but we have to balance requests for it with other questions. At present, the roadmap for HLS looks roughly like this:

  • AES encryption
  • DVR navigation
  • 608 captioning
  • ID3 cuepoints??
  • Multiple audiotracks??

We are right now working on AES support. DVR should be all completed by the end of Q2.
