Old Longtail Wizard

Was the previous version of the JW Player removed completely? I can't find it and the new wizard does not have certain features and I find it very limiting

The Old Setup Wizard had many more options, and the new Wizard is VERY Limiting.

There are only three options, and for instance NOT ALL STREAMS are MP4.
There are http streams which are Flash, and rtmp streams which are other
formats, than are accepted by the New Wizard.

Then AAC Audio? Really, that isn't usually found anywhere commonly is it?
Most audio streams are either, Windows Media, Apple MOV format, or most
commonly MP3.

Users should at least have a choice, to use the Old Wizard if they want to,
that can't be hard can it? Why not have an "Expert Mode" button on the
Wizard page, which takes a User back to the Old Wizard?

Is there NOT some wizard to set up layout? I can copy code from old webpages and modify but would like to upgrade to HTML5 version but only if I can find where to set parms etc. Probably just paranoid but is this some scheme to force upgrades from free to paying?

So many variables from the old wizard (player) have changed.

In the new wizard, there is a section for size, and you can change the size of the player there.

I absolutely HATE this new wizard! Hate it, hate it, hate it! Hate it enought that it's time for me to look for a new video solution.

The old wizard offered soooooo many more options, gave me different codes to choose from (one I used on HTML sites and another for WordPress), and just all around was so much better. This new one just simply SUCKS! For a newbie it may be easier but for us more experienced people it just doesn't cut it.

For those on v4 and v5 you should've kept the old wizard for us to use, then those who upgrade to the new versions they can use the new wizard. That would've been good customer service.

I've been using JW Player for over 5 years and have sworn by it, until now. Now it's time to say good-bye, unless you bring that old wizard back for us die-hard JW enthusiast who want and need all of those options and that flexibility.

By the way, putting the license number in the head of the website isn't so bright since all a person has to do is right mouse click on a page and choose "View Source" and then steal the license number. Not sure what you all were thinking here.

Anyway, hope the old wizard comes back before I replace JW Player. For now, I'll just copy and paste the code from other sites and modify it. The wizard would've been so much easier.

I will pass that along, thanks Bradley.

What the hack is going on with JW Player anyway? I'm still not happy about the price for a ten pack of sites. Please bring back old Wizard!

I will also not upgrade my JW player license. It's plain too expensive just to remove the watermark. The old wizzard should return.

You can always use the wizard on archive.org. It works.

The wizard on archive.org doesn't work for me.
It doesn't let me access the options.

Please provide a link the the v5 wizard. The v5 wizard also had a link to the v5 wizard.

Works for me.
Save the html file in your documents just in case this URL becomes extinct.

Thank you Douglas and Ethan. I saved a local copy from archive.org as suggested. Problem solved.
