Upgrading selfhosted jwplayer-7.4.2 to 7.12.x

Good day.

I am the VP of Engineering at a small startup. I recently had to let go of all of our web developers due to funding issues. I am on my own now, and trying to upgrade our platform to use a more recent version of your player.

As of today, we self-host a version 7.4.2 of your player. In order to get the speed playback options, I am looking to upgrade to a 7.12.x version. I can't seem to find where I can download this specific version.

Can you assist me?

I kid you not, we've been using the JW Player in our platform since May of 2008! Since v 3.16.
Cheers.

Thanks.

Hi,

My name is Timoor Kurdi and I’m a Support Engineer at JW Player.

You would log into your JW Player account and navigate to Publish → Tools. You should see the license key in the Downloads section. You would download and replace the new assets and add them to your server along with the new license key as well.

This help center article goes into more detail – https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/2376965

Hope that helps!
