Jwplayer is loading the video before user clicks play

Hi there,

It seems jwplayer is downloading the video when page loads without any interaction of the user (you can see that on chrome dev toos network tab for example).
You can check here https://goo.gl/R1hcGj we have a jwplayer on the middle of the page.

we only want to download the video after user click play on it.

You can set preload=‘none’ in your player setup configuration. By default the player will preload metadata.

ok, we will add that option to the setup parameters.

but sometimes we get 4 or more mb of preload? is it normal? The preload loads the mp4 itselft or only the metadata? Because what we are getting is part of the mp4 file.

That is normal, small amount of the file is automatically loaded to increase speed to play.
