Is CDN used for live streaming?

Hi guys.

I'd like to use live streaming, but I have figured out that AWS EC 2 is used for servers, but is CloudFront being used on the edge?
I am curious whether CloudFront can be used to cope with the increase when the number of views increases. (I do not think about expenses once)
