Hi,

I am using jwplayer version 7.12 and facing below issue

The mp4 player is not playing in Firefox(only on version 56.0) giving an error: Error loading player no suitable source found.

it is showing a warning in the console - your system may not have the required video codecs for video/mp4

Can you please provide a solution.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Firefox for Linux distributions do not include support for MP4s built-in to the browser, so our player would not be able play the MP4 in that case. I should also point out that we do not officially support our player on Linux. You can read more about the browsers and devices we support, along with the media formats supported in those browsers and devices, on the following support articles:
Browser & Device Reference
Media Format Reference

Thank you.
