HD toggle stays illuminated

When I try to disable the HD in v. 7.12.8, the toggle remains illuminated until I click elsewhere on the page or player. I have seen this in IE, FF, CH, and Safari in both Windows and OSX. Has anyone observed this, and is there any fix in the works for it?
