I get an api call to
https://ssl.p.jwpcdn.com/player/v/7.12.2/jwplayer.controls.js
which returns a 200. But the player never loads and nothing in the console. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I am trying to upgrade from v6.12 to v7.12.
I have a feeling it's due to the license key? Any insight would be much appreciated.
If the player doesn’t setup on the page at all, it could be related to how you are setting up the player. License key issues would appear on the player with an “invalid license key” error. If you are switching to the cloud-hosted version of JW7, you should remove all instances of the JW6 player and/or key from your page.
