plays on everything but iOS Safari mobile devices - where to start?

My player is working great on my website for all desktop browsers but I can't figure out why it won't work for iOS mobile browser Safari. It will work if I use Chrome or Firefox on a iPhone. I am trying to play mp3 files on my website. Any ideas?

MP3s should work fine in iOS Safari. Please follow the instructions here so we can help troubleshoot as I am able to get MP3 playback using my internal testing tools.
