Jwplayer safari issues

It appears that there is an issue streaming an mpeg dash video on safari,

on trying to start the video above I am able to get it to run in chrome and edge, but safari displays the following error:
Error loading player: No playable sources found

Help resolving this would be appreciated.

As an additional thought is there a way to make error messages from jwplayer.on('error') more verbose?

DASH playback is not supported in Safari. Check out our Media Format Reference page for a helpful table of what formats are supported.

We are working on making more specific error messages in future versions of the player, so we hear your feedback loud and clear.
