Adaptive HLS Streaming via Android SDK

Hi,

i tried to implement my m3u8 playlist, and it takes alot of time before it adapts to the next resolution. Takes about 7-8 seconds before it scales up, any ideas why? on iOS it takes basically 1sec...

Hi,

Please send me the streaming url in question. In general I’d expect it to switch after the first segment so if the second is 7-8 seconds long, I’d expect the behavior you are describing.
