Hello,
Thank you for contacting the JW Player support team. My name is Randy and you could achieve this simply by logging into your JW Player dashboard and using what we call “custom parameters” which are housed in the Content→Videos section. Within this section, then navigate to Metadata→Custom Parameters.
- Input any Name/Value pair you want to use to uniquely identify your content.
- Ad these custom parameters as ad tag macros to your ad tag URL like so:
http://myad.xml&country=item-country&city=item-city&camera=item-camera
- Paste this into your created JW Players Advertising section within the “Player Builder”.
- Now when your ad/stream content is embedded, the ad will look for these macros and populate based on the custom parameters you created for the stream.
- This data can then be used by your ad network SDK to distinguish what ad content should be delivered.
