Iframe embed quality in Safari

For some reasons Safari is not providing HD toggling in JW player. Instead it shows a low quality video by default that cannot be altered by the viewer. This only happens in safari. See for example: https://soofos.nl/cursus/online-cursus-sketchup-make/.

How is it possible to enable hd toggling in safari or let it pick a quality automatically?

On Safari we let the browser handle HLS playback as it support the video format natively. That’s why the HD button is not available. The browser will select the appropriate quality for the bandwidth.
