Streaming M3U8 files

Hello,

I've been checking the latest JW version via the HTTP tester > http://demo.jwplayer.com/developer-tools/http-stream-tester/, now here I paste an M3U8 file which works fine on the HTML player, but on the flash player I get an error message: Cannot load M3U8: No leves to play.

Two questions:
- can the flash version of the player supports redirects? because I've checked the m3u8 file and it has some redirects and the path seems good in the HTML5 player
- what version of the player will satisfy this? The premium version of JW has HLS streaming enabled? can I go with this and later on based on the bandwidth upgrade my version?

Hi there,

JW Player does not support 302 redirects on M3U8 manifest/playlist files in Flash. We advise to instead use DNS load-balancing or serve up a dynamic M3U8 manifest, containing direct links to the M3U8 playlists on the target servers. You do need a Premium Subscription to playback HLS streams and I would advise you to read this related support article.
