My name is Alex and I am one of the Team Leads of the Support Team at JW Player. I will be more than happy to assist you with your questions.
I tested your page on three different versions of Edge – 25, 34 and 38 – and was only able to reproduce the behavior in Edge 38, both on your page and on our Stream Tester.
With that being said, I have yet to be able to reproduce the issue using the latest release candidate of JW Player 7.9. Can you try seeing if you can reproduce the behavior with that version?
You can change the release channel for a cloud-hosted player by going to your player’s configuration page on the dashboard, expanding the “Advanced” section, and changing the dropdown to “Beta”.
When I go to your page, it looks like it is still running 7.8.7. Are you able to build a plain reproduction page that has your player configuration, running 7.9.0-rc.1 but doesn’t contain any other content or third-party JavaScript/CSS?
I thought I had updated it - but I can't be sure the new version had been pulled in. I've made sure it has now and it is working on Edge 38, thank you for your help.
I just want to double-check because it is the morning here and I haven’t had my coffee yet – everything is now working for you on the latest beta of 7.9?
