Video not smooth on Linux Mint 17.3, FF, Chromium, or Chrome browsers

Hi,

CBC.ca seems to be using your JWPlayer 7.6.1 to stream their programs. The video is not smooth (jerky?) on all my Linux Mint 17.3 machines, using Firefox 50.1.0, up to date Chromium or Chrome browsers. These computers play YouTube, Sportsnet streaming (Chromium or Chrome works, not FF), and all types of HD video files fine, so there is some difference with the JWPlayer.

I have tried all the available resolutions. I have quite good internet speed, and have no trouble streaming video from other sources. These computers have nVida graphics cards.

Is there anything I can do to make the video watchable off CBC? Thank you.
