HI,

We have a video that we would like to automatically play at HD quality when the page is opened. Is this possible?

Yes, you have several options:

Read the basic embed page and purchase the Premium Subscription and any single-line embed code will automatically increase to HD quality if bandwidth allows.

If you want to stick with the free plan, you can manually embed the player and embed code on to the page and reference the highest quality MP4 available for your content in the SOURCES tab of that specific piece of content in your JW Dashboard.

Alternatively, you can use the platform api to set a specific cloud-hosted player to only play a certain quality. This will require you to use the /accounts/templates/list API call and the /players/update API endpoints.
