You really should move to JW 7, since some media requires flash with JW 6 but can be played in HTML 5 in JW 7. Check out our Media Format Reference page for a table on formats and compatibility.

No, JW 6 uses flash to playback HLS streams except for Safari.

If i try to make it html5 player when loading the player through mode attribute then also it load the flash.

modes: [

{type: 'html5'},
{ type: "flash", src: "player.swf" }
]

so will i move to jw7 player to render in html5 or what else the solution.

i am using jw6.12 premier version.

I’m not sure what you mean, but VTT is most compatible caption format.

There should be an article that shows up when you search for that error on our support site, did a link to this page show up when you searched? If not please let me know so I can escalate.
