We'd love some advice on best practice for displaying closed captions when playing an audio file. Sadly kicking the height to 40px and going into 'audio only mode' doesn't display the CC icon even when the track is present - so it seems the only option is to choose an aspect ratio that's as 'short' as possible whilst still displaying subtitles legibly when displaying at 100% in a responsive container.

There is no built-in functionality for the player to show closed captions in the player when an audio-only source is provided, nor is that functionality currently on our roadmap. I would suggest adding a video track to your audio (with either a black color or a static image displayed for the entire length) which you would then be able to use captions with. Alternatively, there may be a way for you to parse the VTT captions file provided by our platform, but I am not sure how exactly to do that, nor would it be within the scope of support we provide.
