Hi all,

Can somebody help me in fixing the issue of jwplayer not working in firefox? i am using jwplayer 7.0.1, the videos do play in chrome but it shows "Error loading player: No playable sources found" when i click on the video to play. Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

What kind of video are you trying to play? I would expect MP4s and WebMs to play in Firefox without Flash, but RTMP and HLS streams will require Flash.

Have you tried JW Player 7.5.0? That is the current version of our player. Please see https://developer.jwplayer.com/jw-player/docs/developer-guide/release_notes/release_notes_7/ for more details.

Hi Todd,

Thanks for the reply, i am trying to play RTMP but also used fallback for firefox where i replace it by HTTP and also tried so many fallbacks with the extensions like flv, ogg, webm and ogv. I also upgraded my jwplayer to 7.5.2 but still no luck.

Can you provide a link to your test page? I would like to see how you have configured the sources: [ ] block in your jwplayer().setup() call.

Please see https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1710454-configuring-multiple-sources for more details on how to configure multiple sources in our player.
