Mid roll ads during live streams

Hello
Is it possible to buffer the live broadcast during the time when an ad is playing? Effectively time-shifting the stream.

Basically the scenario is this:
* The live broadcast is shown
* Using either VMAP or API an ad is triggered
* The ad is shown instead of the live stream
* Once the ad is finished the live stream continues from the point when the ad started

Hello Zahar,

I am not sure how streamlined this might be with a live broadcast as you would potentially be dealing with discontinuity tags and segments but you could probably inject that content based on the .ts segments and resume from there. We do not have sample code for this unfortunately but often times this is achieved as well with server-side ad stitching.
