Self Hosted Player

Hello,

Is the self hosted player free or what's the deal? I cannot find any way to actually pay for the self hosted player.

Hi Joe,

Start by signing up for a free account by going to this page. You’ll get an e-mail from us that will let you activate your account. Once your account is activated you’ll be able to log into the JW Dashboard. On the lower-right section of the page you should see a link to your License Keys and Downloads section. Now you can download the self-hosted player.

If you’d like HLS playback or more storage and streaming space (assuming you’d like to host your content with us) then purchase a Premium Subscirption by clicking on the UPGRADE button on the top left the JW Dashboard.

Thanks for the respomse. I did just that and i am using the player on the site right now, however is there no option to pay for the self hosted player? For the player itself?

We don’t offer a self-hosted player only purchase option at this time. It sounds like you’ll just need to purchase the premium subscription.
