I just uploaded a video in HD but by default the embed player plays the video in 180p. This sure can not be good because 80% will not click the HD button. Therefore i need it to play in HD by default. Looking for a way but it seems there is no way to do this? Do i really need to search for a other player provider because this setting is not available?

I assume you are refering to the single-line embed code that is generated by the publish mode in the JW Dashboard. Since you are using the free player, you would need to either pay for Premium to get it to automatically switch qualities or use the javascript API in order to set a quality when the player instantiates. Here is a demo page. You will need to manually embed the player and not be able to use the single-line embed code for this.

Well goodluck anyone who wants the same, try vimeo or youtube. jsplayer is not able to display HD as default (bizar), only if you know good coding.
Now tell me, wy deleting my post in which i explain my findings? So the next person can search for hours also? Seems a bit ego. Fact is that js player is perfect in all. Got all the api, the nicest players, all the analytics ONLY it is not possible to play HD as default??? A website visitor first have to watch a video in 180p??? Thats really bizar, even with the lowest internet connection people do not watch 180p anymore. In this case its even better to display a html 5 video on a website. Sure its not worth it to pay 300 a year for displaying 1 video in HD.
Conclusion: Great and the best system there is, only with 1 hell of a blunder.
