wowza ndvr html5

Hi JW team,

several weeks ago I asked a question connected with live streaming to jwplayer. You sent me a test player - http://demo.jwplayer.com/stream-tester/ . It works great. This demo works with flash, as I could see. My managers are interested in HTML5 player. Could you send me demo player with HTML5 similar to flash demo?
Could help me to configure HTML5 stand alone player with nDVR, AES-128 encryption and Adaptive Bandwidth, to present it to my managers?

That same Stream Tester will render in HTML5 if you check the box next to “Attempt to render in HTML5”. The stream tester will also play nDVR and AES-128 encrypted HLS streams.

Alternatively, you can contact our Sales team regarding the ability to playback AES encrypted streams as they require an Ads or Enterprise subscription. They may be able to provide you with a trial account for our platform.

Please let me know if you need any more help or have any other questions.

Thank you!

Hi Alex,
I checked box "Attempt to render in HTML5" but the player is starting flash. Could you check. If you give me an e-mail I'll send you a screenshot

As long as the format of media you are testing with is able to be played via HTML5 in whichever browser you are using and you are clicking “Load Stream” after you are checking the box next to “Attempt to render in HTML5”, it should be working. For example, if you are testing with a HLS stream in Chrome, checking the “Attempt to render in HTML5” box will result in the stream being played in HTML5. However, if you do the same thing in Firefox, the player will still load with Flash as HLS cannot yet be played in HTML5 in Firefox.

Can you provide me with the URL of the stream you are using to test with?

Thanks.
