Streaming 4:3

Hi Everyone,

I recently uploaded my first video and am struggling to get it to play in 4:3.

I've attempted to create a player in 4:3, but the video still plays "stretched", just in a different sized box. I also attempted to enter in height and width into the meta information, but that didn't seem to affect the actual video, just the size of the box the video played in.

If I open the video in VLC on my computer, and change the ratio to 4:3, it looks great (Which is why I am assuming it needs to be in 4:3).

Any help would be appreciated.

Your video is actually 320×180 or 16:9. You will need to re-encode it with the correct aspect ratio so it will display properly in a 4:3 player. Let me know if that makes sense.

Hi, I confirmed that my encoding settings were 4:3

Here are the settings (I am using Nero Recode)

Resolution: 640x480
Aspect Ratio: 4:3
Scan Type: Progressive
Frame Rate: 29.97
Video Codec: MPEG-4 SP/ASP

Any other ideas?

I’m referring to the video that’s on your account right now. If it’s not that one, can you show me a reproduction page so I can inspect your embed code and see the video myself.
