Hello, I am a rails developer and using Amazon cloud Front CDN for my files retrieval. First I integrated RTMP streaming with Amazon CDN and it worked fine on Web.
But I came to know that It will not work in mobile devices. I want to change my stream now. Does HLS stream work with Amazon CDN. If yes, how to create that '.m3u8' file which is used for HLS stream.(Not Live stream).

Our player will play HLS streams created by Amazon, but I am not sure how you would actually create the HLS streams on Amazon. I know they have an Elastic Encoder service that will probably do this, but I have never worked with it.
JW Player will also create HLS streams for any VOD video you upload to your account dashboard.
