Any plans to support IMA Skippable Ads?

One of our publishers reported issues running skippable ads, and we realized that the issue is only with IMA formatted skippable ads (the VAST skippable ones work as expected). I also found this article stating that IMA skippable ads are not supported: https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1433818-configuring-ad-skipping#fndtn-dashboard

Does JW Player have any plans to support IMA skippable ads, and if so, when this may happen - or can you provide and clarity on why it's not supported? Thank you.

Hello,

At the moment this is not something we support as you know and I had a conversation with our developers around this and at the moment it is something they are aware of but I cannot provide an ETA of potential support or implementation at the moment. If this does change I will make sure to notify our Product Manager about the need and make sure the notes are added to the player Release Notes.

After reviewing the ticket detail I wanted to specify that skippable ads will not work on mobile devices. The GoogIMA content with skip capability will indeed work on desktop.
