HLS byte range

Hi !

I know that HLS byte range is not supported by the player yet, I'd like to know if it is still planned to be done in a close future or not.
I saw here (https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:7QrZsi_0NyEJ:https://developer.jwplayer.com/jw-player/docs/developer-guide/beta/html5_hls_beta/+&cd=7&hl=fr&ct=clnk&gl=fr) that it was planned for Q2/Q3 2016,
but it doesn't appear anymore on the page where you talk about V4 but only for WebVTT captions and Multi-audio tracks : https://developer.jwplayer.com/jw-player/docs/developer-guide/beta/html5_hls_beta/

Can you provider more information about if this will be done and if yes, when ?

Hello,

I spoke with our engineers on this and should have more information soon. I know this is something they have brought up but at the moment we do not have a hard deadline of when this will be released.
