Azure Media Streaming using JW Player

Hi,

I would like test whether Azure Media Streaming works using JW Player.

I tried to test using my video link from the website below, but it does not work.

https://www.jwplayer.com/company/partners/azure/

Even the default video in the above page is showing "Playlist could not be loaded: No playable source found" error.

Please advise. Thanks!

That looks like an old demo page. Have you tried your stream in our Stream Tester at http://demo.jwplayer.com/stream-tester/ ?
You might need to check the box to force the type: ‘hls’ setup parameter, as I believe Azure streams do not contain the .m3u8 file extension that our player looks for.

I'm having the same problem. The publish url of the video stored at Azure Media Services http://ekolmedia.streaming.mediaservices.windows.net/fdccf833-5fb7-4c86-a402-67db6dc8685d/mood.ism/Manifest

Since the extension is different than a video file extension, JW player does not play the video. JW player says we support Azure videos. How can i make this work?

Add type: ‘hls’ to your player setup() call.

Can you send me a link to your test page?
