vimeo PRO HLS videos with JWplayer 7

I'm trying to get HLS videos from our vimeo Pro account to play with cloud hosted JWplayer 7, After fixing the "Access denied" issues through using SSL, I'm now facing another problem "Cannot load M3U8: No levels to play". I went through old questions similar to this problem (404 errors with HLS) and they were all related to 6.x versions of jwplayer, The answer for this particular question

is that HLS from vimeo is not supported, is there any update on this issue or should I just move from jwplayer to another solution?

It will work on browsers that can natively play HLS, otherwise it won’t as there is still an issue with 302 redirects.
