Hosting the player from a custom protocol scheme

Hi.

I have a web server working on a custom scheme, myscheme://, and I would like to host my own JWPlayer through it and play videos like myscheme://mysite/myvideo.mp4

Currently I receive a 'Flash plugin failed to load' error, like this: http://i.imgur.com/rDPvYUU.png

What can I do to fix this?

Hi, there.

I’ve never heard of anyone using our player with a custom protocol, so I cannot guarantee it would work. Also, that Flash-specific error you are receiving may be caused by Flash Player not allowing such connections.
