Hi,
after the auto-update auf my site to WordPress 4.4.1, JW-Player stopped working. All I get now is "Error loading player: No playable sources found" as you can see here: http://www.rockin-accordions.de/audio_video/
I use the "JW Player 6 Plugin for Wordpress" in version 2.1.14 with playlists and html5 players.
What might be wrong here?

I would try the newest version of the WP plugin found here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/jw-player/

Will this work with my self hosted media? The descriptions sounds like its only for media hosted on the JW Player Website.
When I try to activate the new plugin it causes a fatal error:
"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /www/htdocs/XXXX/wp-content/plugins/jw-player/include/media.php on line 99"
No it will work with self hosted media, the players can be edited on the JW Player Dashboard. Did you remove the old plugin first?
Yes, I deactivated it. But it was not deleted. So it is present as an "inactive" plugin.
I would remove all plugins, not just deactivate them, and then try to install the newest version again.

I tried a lot this morning. I deactivated all plugins an tried to activate the latest JW Player Plugin -> no success. Then I deleted all plugins from my webserver an tried to activate the JW Player Plugin again -> no success.
Is there anything else, I can try?
There may be a conflict with the theme you are using, see if it works with one of the default themes.
Same issue with me, I have tried multiple themes, no matter what, this wont' activate. Noticed, however, that it doesnt work on any version i tried, 0.9.0 on up to 0.10
