Cannot see ID3 tags in HLS stream

Hi,

It is supposed to display DATE/TIME information containted in the COMM section of ID3 tags.
On my windows desktop in IE the tags are displayed at the right time, but I don't see the content. I see the language "eng" instead.

What is worse: on Android and IOS devices the metadata event are not fired at all

The metadata being outputted to the browser console appears similar for me in IE and Chrome. Please see the attached screenshots.

As for mobile, you are correct, the .on(“meta”) event does not fire because the native mobile media players are actually responsible for playback of content on mobile devices and do not fire that event.
