Hosting free player locally

Is it possible to completely host the player locally, including all files which are currently being loaded via the cdn?
Thank you!

No, it is not possible to self-host all the files. You can self-host the jwplayer.js and the flash.swf, but our player will load a few cloud-hosted dependencies as determined by your player configuration.

Hi Todd, thanks for your quick reply!

In another thread you mentioned this: "But in JW7, you can also set “base”:“.” to a local folder to self host all of the additional plugins. But the be aware that we update very frequently to add new functionality and to adjust to the ever changing user agents."

Is this only possible with the paid version?

The Free player will allow you to set the base: as well. Our documentation at https://developer.jwplayer.com/jw-player/docs/developer-guide/customization/configuration-reference/ has been updated to include this.
