Hi,

Only paid accounts have access to email support. If you’d like us to have a quick look, you would have to post the link here for us to troubleshoot. It sounds like you are running too many scripts on your site and when in low bandwidth environments your player hits a timeout on load. If you can replicate the issue on a simple test page with no extra javascript libraries it would be best.

Hi,

So it seems the problem is mostly with your server and maybe the encoding. I wasn’t able to play the video correctly in Chrome which means the encoding is bad. So what I did is I used HandBrake https://handbrake.fr/ to re-encode it and then I hosted it online to double check and that solves the issue. You could also upload it to JW Player and we will usually encode if for you on our platform then you can use our embed code or get the video source URL from the Content section of your dashboard.

Not a problem, unfortunately I’m not an expert on encoding but I do know that it’s the first line of defense when troubleshooting videos and it has to do with the codecs available to browsers, HandBrake uses the standard stuff so it will format the video in such a way the browsers can play it. As far as the buffer, that has to do with internet connection speeds on the server side, client side and the general network.
