Youtube html5 quality switcher not working

Hello friends,
I'm working on project where we are using jwplayer for embedding youtube videos.
And recently we found out problem with quality switcher in html5 player.
When you try to switch video quality - nothing happens.
After researching problem in internet I found this article about youtube embedding to jwplayer and mention, that quality switcher doesn't work here as well http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1406725-youtube-video-embed
Can you help me with this problem?
Thanks.

Hi,

Quality switching does occur, but not instantaneously. It takes about 10 seconds I believe since we need to finish playing the already buffered quality before switching to the new one.

You can notice the quality change if you seek to an unbuffered section as whatever is in buffer will be played in the quality it was loaded in. I will forward this to engineering for an update.

So engineering got back to me and this is what the had to say:
We’re at the mercy of youtube on this one. We’re merely plugging into their chromeless iframe player, and triggering/listening to events via their API. I don’t believe that we have that much control over what gets buffered and how.
