JWPlayer 7 hide error messages before live video starts streaming

Probably a stupid question, but I'm using JW Player 7 with Wowza Cloud Server, and testing it by supplying video from GoCoder on my iPad.
It doesn't seem that you can sync starting the GoCoder with the Cloud Server, meaning the player will display an error - such as no video sources found, or Crossdomain error until the video loads - which is very ugly. From what I've read, it seems that I need to add an event handler which checks for an error, and keeps reloading the page until the video starts streaming, but this seems very unsatisfactory.
Does anyone know if I'm missing something obvious?

Hi, there.

I would suggest working with Wowza on why the GoCoder app is not syncing properly with their Cloud Server. Troubleshooting something like this would be outside our scope of support since it’s not an issue with our player.
