Cue track inside movie

Greetings
I've seen that jwplayer can have an external cue list, but does it support embedded cue track?
If I open the movie inside vlc I can see the cue, but not inside jwplayer...
thanks

Hello Greg,

This is George, I am one of the Support Engineers here at JW Player. How are you? Please give me a little more background on what you are trying to achieve and what issues you are having. I see here you mention cue list, however I’m not sure what you are referring to. Could you point me to the document that shows that we support that in our player? Also, please send me the test page that is having the issue?

this page refers to an external cue track, but there is one inside my mp4 file

Aha, chapters, I was thinking that may be it.

So yeah, you need to add the vtt file explicitly. We don’t actually parse through the MP4 as we mostly delegate between the user and browser, not render the content itself.

Does that help?

Yes thanks, I'm writing a script to extract the cue track into a vtt file.
