Android issue


Hi, I'm using the latest jwplayer. I have test every browser and iOS they all work fine on flash mode except for Firefox run into issue on html mode still say this media can't be played for some reason but that not the case. The case is android, I'm using the new samsung galaxy s6 edge+ whenever i push play it load but then tell me file can't be played. I went back to jwplayer 6 and it will load and play video on android.

It works finer on my Galaxy Note 4
By the way, you have primary : html5 and then also primary: flash a FEW LINES BELOW IT.

I have an Galaxy s6 edge plus and it still say Error loading media: File could not be played. The video is in mp4 format with h264 and aac. The video i encode is Megui similar to hand brake app but it still play all browser in flash except for firefox when it come to html5 mode it still say Error loading media: File could not be played. Only JW6 will work on my android for some reason but i want to use jw7 so any fixed will be helpful

Hi, there.

Your player would not play on Android (or iOS) since you have primary: “flash”. If you remove that line, it should play back just fine in Chrome for Android. Please note that we do not support Firefox for Android.

When you are testing in JW Player 6, are you also using primary: “flash” because the behavior should be the same there.
