Fullscreen JWPlayer 7

Hi,

I've noticed that the JWPlayer 7 changed it's behavior when toggling fullscreen compared to JWPlayer 6:
it's not working when embedded into an iframe!
When will this be fixed or is there any workaround?

Thanks!
Patrick

(that's related to desktop browsers not iOS!)

[SOLVED]
allowfullscreen was missing within the iframe tag
(but very strange that it worked flawless with the previous versions!)

Hi, Patrick.

You are correct about the allowfullscreen parameter needing to be put into the iFrame. I’m not quite sure when that change happened, but I believe it was related to browser updates more than our player.

Please let me know if you need any more help or have any other questions.

Thank you!

Hi Alex and Patrick,

I can see the same problem and the same solution. In my configuration, JW Player is Flash primary. I confirm that JW Player 6 within an iframe has no problem with toggling fullscreen even when allowfullscreen is not specified in the calling tag for the iframe. I confirm it's no more possible with JW Player 7.
There is something new with JW Player 7. So we are going to have some work in the next days... with updating our calling tags. :-/ It's not a Christmas gift. .'-(

Kind regards
