Prevent Overlays from Hiding the Controls

I am trying to use overlays in my plugins, but each time the mouse moves over the area the controls vanish.

I am trying to use https://github.com/emaxsaun/controlbarlogo which I believe was written by Ethan Feldman

The demo for this plugin is http://www.pluginsbyethan.com/github/controlbarlogo.html

When you move your mouse over the logo in the bottom corner the controlbar fades out which defeats the whole purpose of the plugin.

Is there a solution to this?

Those plugins were written by a third-party, so we are not able to support them.

I realize they are not supported. What I am asking is if there is a way to prevent the controlbar from hiding when the mouse moves over an overlay.

I was just using that plugin as an example.

Currently the controlbar stays visible as long as the mouse is over the player. When it hits an overlay then the controlbar instantly vanishes.

Is there a way to prevent that?

Unfortunately I can not. Right now I have it on an internal web server. That is why I linked to the demo page above as it shows the exact same issue I am talking about.
