Video background colour is grey in Firefox


Hi

I have a video which is here - that has a light grey background in Firefox, in IE, Chrome etc it is white as I want it. How can I change it in Firefox?

I can't detect any difference between them. But what version of Firefox and what OS are you using? If Firefox is dropping back to Flash (as it will in older versions, or in any version under WinXP), the color rendering will, indeed, be slightly different.

In any case, you can't change the result. JW Player isn't playing the video. The browser's own <video> tag handling is doing the playback, or, if that's not supported, Flash is doing it. JW Player is just a steering script that adds its own overlays (control bar, logo, etc.).

This color unfortunately cannot be changed by the video player. I’d also suggest updating your player. 6.7 is a bit out of date and we’ve made some great performance improvements since. You can grab the latest on your dashboard here:
