Wordpress Plugin - Adding External Media not loading Youtube Poster Image and other info

Hi

I've recently installed the Wordpress plugin and have a Pro license, however when adding external media ie. a Youtube video, it is not pulling the info from youtube, in particular the poster image which is vital when sharing.

Player Version: 6.11
Wordpress Version: 4.11

Here is a screenshot of the problem: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rdhbq0xscq7erhy/2015-03-18%2004%3A10%3A17%20%2B00001.png?dl=0

Do you have a link to the page where you’re setting this up?

You’ll need to make sure that your OG tags are properly configured here. I suggest taking a look at the following:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/best-practices

When sharing, facebook will be looking at these OG tags to determine how to display your content on someone’s timeline.

Thanks but I don't see how the end result of sharing on Facebook causes the initial problem, the initial issue is that the plugin is not pulling the data from Youtube as shown in this initial screenshot https://www.dropbox.com/s/rdhbq0xscq7erhy/2015-03-18%2004%3A10%3A17%20%2B00001.png?dl=0

Can you explain the use case a bit further? Sharing a page onto facebook requires that OG tags are configured properly on the page itself. You can see this by viewing a youtube content page and viewing any of the OG tags in the HTML source.

What data should the plugin be pulling in this case?

I understand this, but the content that we’ll be pulling for Facebook sharing lives on the HTML page itself where the player is embedded. We’re not able to derive this information from youtube when you’re simply embedding a youtube video.
